Shareholding structure

Grzegorz Ksepko

Vice-President of the Management Board for Corporate Matters, Energa SA

It was a big challenge to optimally streamline group structure while at the same time avoiding a negative impact on employees. We were quite successful in this regard, as we managed to complete the entire process without any layoffs. The savings brought about by the restructuring process were related to substantial cost-cutting, resulting from the achievement of such goals as managerial staff reduction and the centralization of shared services (IT, procurement and accounting). These cuts allowed us to reduce the expenses which previously overlapped at particular companies.
